Declutter Guide Looks like a great organizational book. Any plans for additional self -help books?
Yes, I just finished Feeling Good Now! – How to be happy and find Inner Peace in 30 days. It is a solid book which helps us find and discover our true passion in life. Often we have a job or career, and it pays the bills but doesn’t satisfy you, and you are not sure what to do because you feel stuck. This book helps you to sit back and think about what makes you happy and helps you to be able to define your passion. It can help you to get on the journey to reducing worry and anxiety that many of us deal with on a daily basis. It’s a new release on Amazon, check out happinessinnerpeace.com

What do you think makes a great life guide?
We live in a world where we are always comparing what we have with what someone else has. One thing for sure is that material things don’t always make us happy. For example, if you are sad, you can enjoy retail therapy which could satisfy you temporarily, but deep down, you have to later deal with your emotions. People want to feel optimistic and hopeful but don’t know how to. The Declutter Guide and Feeling Good Guide work together by helping you define what is important to each and gives you action steps to help with the process. Feeling good helps take that one step further by helping you with your emotions such as worry, fear, and anxiety so you can discover the real you. The guide has different tools and exercises that help to guide you along the way. It’s a process which has helped so many of my readers.

What inspired you when writing Declutter Guide and how did I come up with the concepts and ideas?
I grew up in a very organized household. As a teenager, I was always attracted to lifestyle and interior design magazines. My mom had a friend who was a professional organizer. During college I was lucky to have two internships, one in my major and another one was with her organizing company. Over the years I picked up lots of tips and tricks I used in our homes. My friends have begged me to share those tips with them, and now I am compelled to share them with my readers.

What are your ambitions for your writing career? Full Time? Part-time?
I am a full-time author and copywriter. I found the corporate life to be very restrictive with so many pressures and aggravation, that I started writing part-time. Once I lost my corporate job I continued to publish articles, books and started copywriting full time and never looked back.

When did you decide to become a writer?
I used to do a lot of writing as a teenager then stopped once I went to college. After I started working in the corporate world, I started writing poems and short stories on weekends. I found that writing and drawing on weekends was a fantastic time to relax and unwind. I enjoy writing short books which can help people. There is so much negativity out there, and I feel If I can create something to help people create peace in their homes and their minds I’m helping the world heal.

When writing Declutter Guide did anything stand out as particularly challenging?
Initially, I wrote the book I felt it was too long. I decided to refocus and break everything down into actionable steps I felt it would be easier to digest and better appreciated by my readers.

What do you like to do when not writing?
I love reading thrillers and mysteries, listening to classical music, and drawing. My husband and I hike, enjoy tai-chi, travel, and are involved in charity work.

How can readers discover more about you and your work?
My website has a lot of information and readers can sign up for my newsletter.
