A secret diary of young Arthur Conan Doyle
In 1881, Doyle, along with his mentor and the inspiration for the Sherlock Holmes character, Dr. Joseph Bell, journeyed to St. Petersburg, Russia. They were drawn to Russia to stop a nefarious conspiracy to engulf Europe in a deadly war. And fortunately for us all, Conan Doyle kept a diary detailing all of his adventures during that fateful trip. It is only recently that this secret diary has been unearthed, and so now, it can be finally published for all to read.
