Angel’s Advocate looks like an exciting story. Can you tell us a little about Justin Lanel?
Justin Lanel, is a high school student who is more of a shut
in. A student that doesn’t want to continue to go to school and lacks
motivation. I read from American Psychological that males are often depressed.
I wanted someone for the reader to relate to or see a little bit of their
perspective. Justin is learning that you can’t give up, you have to keep going.
Any plans to turn it into a series?
Yes, I am very passionate about turning this into a series
and have the readers go down the rabbit hole with Justin.
That’s an amazing cover. Can you tell us a little about it?
Devil’s advocate is when a devil is over you shoulder, the
devil tempts you into doing wrong. Angel’s advocate is when an angel is over
your shoulder, persuading you into doing right.
The cover has that idea behind it, where an angel is over
your shoulder, holding you lovingly.
How did you come up with the story in Angel’s Advocate?
I thought of the story as escapism from reality, like
Neverland and Wonderland. To help readers to forget about reality and project
themselves as Justin Lanel and go on this grand adventure. The story is
inspired by biblical stories with my own twist.
Did anything stick out as particularly challenging when writing Angel’s Advocate?
I knew exactly what I wanted to write for my book from beginning to end, I more so had a difficult time publishing it because I am a perfectionist and wanted to make sure my book was the best, I could make it to be.
What do you like to do when not writing?
I try to stay active by going to the gym time to time, funny
enough, that is where I get some story ideas for my next book. I like to read
as well; I get so absorbed into books.
Where can readers find out more about your work?
.I am working on a author site to have updates for my next
book, I am looking into amazon kindle vella for a future story. But currently
you can find my work, on amazon.
