Daily Affirmations for a Happier You looks like a fantastic book.  Can you tell us a little about it?

This book is about helping people think positively about themselves and the world around them to attract positive outcomes in life. The first step to positive change is to change your thought. As easy it may sound, it isn’t easy and often not sure where to start. That’s how I felt when I began this journey of personal development. So, I wrote this book to help people covering positive affirmations of all areas of life. I also share my personal story in the book and write effective affirmations that work for individuals.

How long did it take you to write Daily Affirmations for a Happier You?

Three months. Once I had all the ideas and structure in my head, it was fast. The process of getting feedback from people and editing took longer.

What inspired you when writing Daily Affirmations for a Happier You

I wrote this book because I experience the power of positive affirmation in all areas of my life, so I wanted to share it with others to experience this positive change. From being single to finding my soulmate and being in the job, I felt trapped to doing what I am passionate about. The starting point was to change the way I think by using positive affirmation daily. So, I decided to write this book first as part of The Happiness Project.

What will readers get out of your book?

From this book, people will receive:

·         A reminder to be kind to ourselves.

·         Positive affirmations for all areas of life that could resonate with you and could be used going forward.

·         A teaching on how to make effective affirmations to make improvements in any area of your life.

·         A content that has a combination of psychology, personal examples, and encouragement.

Did anything stick out as particularly challenging when writing Daily Affirmations for a Happier You?

Writing “how-to” and “Positive affirmation examples” was the easy part. Facing the dark moments of my life and facing the truth was the hardest. Often what you want to hide is what you need to share to help others.

What do you like to do when not writing?

These days I work on a business and enjoy life - gardening, camping, and simply doing nothing…   J
