Can you tell us a little about Fredrik?

Fredrik is the father’s. Son. He is open to learn. He is growing up in a harmonic family and   lives in a small house in an island not so far from the beautiful town Karlskrona in the southern part of Sweden. There is no bridge. It means that one has to use boot

The Boy Who Sailed looks like an exciting story.

The idea is that Fredrik father would like to learn his son realitys about boot, sailing, sea and wind and conditions in living near the sea.

He wants also to show and expolain something about the town Karlskrona. The city is included in the world heritage. It is an exclusive association of valuable cultural heritage in the world. Karlskrona is a significant strategic naval base in the Baltic Sea The city also has a unique archipelago suitable for sailing and outdoor activities.

The city is good for young people and familys. If one wants to go to big citys it is easy. Copenhagenin Denmark is only about 200 km. Away. There is trains one time/hr. Of course one can go by car

That’s an amazing cover.  Can you tell us a little about it?

I painted this picture years ago – It is oil and canvas.  The boat is typical for the region and built in wood. The boat type is very old and is the product of many hundreds of years of experience with harsh Scandinavian weather. There is no engine. The boat is also available with one mast. There is no modern equipment. The type of boat represents local tradition, experience and culture. One says: “I picture says moore than 1000 words“
