I plan to write follow-up books that build on each character

do you think makes a great story?
Intrigue,
drama, inspiration and conquering and overcoming obstacles
What
inspired you when writing 'The
Book Club'?
I
was inspired by my relationships with women that I have known
throughout my life. I was also inspired by a desire to support and
empower other women.
What
are your ambitions for your writing career? Full time? Part time?
I
would like to continue writing part-time as I have a full-time job.
Eventually, I would like to focus on writing as my primary career.
When
did you decide to become a writer? I think I was always a writer.
For me, words are a way of conveying my internal thoughts and
emotions. I have been writing since I was in elementary school.
When
writing 'The
Book Club’ did
anything stand out as particularly challenging?
The
writing of the book was not challenging, but getting to know the
industry and publishing had its challenges.
How
did you come up with the story of 'The
Book Club'
?
The
book club was inspired when I moved out of state a few years ago. I
had been a part of a book club. I missed my friends and the
relationships that I had forged. One day I sat down, while thinking
of them and “The Book Club” was born.
What
do you like to do when not writing?
I
spend time with family and friends, travel and attend various events.
